The Cogent Coatings Epoxy Primer is a superior, high performance 1:1 primer system designed for kitchen and bathroom refinishing.
Uses: This product is an excellent undercoat for porcelain, ceramic tile, bathroom partitions, fIberglass and Formica countertops.
Mixing: Cogent Coatings EPOXY is a two component system consisting of the base and hardener. Both components’ temperature must be above 55°F before intermixing. Mixing ratio is 1 :1 parts by volume. This product has a pot life of approximately hours!!!. DO NOT USE CATALYZED MATERIAL THAT HAS EXCEEDED RECOMMENDED POT LIFE.
Coverage: One catalyzed gallon will cover approximately 600 sq. ft. at 1 mil. dry film thickness.
Sheene: Flat.
Reduce: DO NOT REDUCE
Color: Can be tinted to a wide variety of colors
Dry Times: Dry to re-coat in 15 minutes
Pot Life: At 70°F, pot life is approximately 40 hours!!!!. If temperature increases, pot life will be shorter.
